Casa Forno is located in Contrada Liscio, within a small residence built in typical Aeolian style and easy to reach as it lies just off the main road. It is the smallest of the four units in the residence, yet it boasts a beautiful panoramic terrace. The house is about 850 metres from Filicudi’s main harbour and the nearest beach when walking along an ancient mule track; by road, the harbour and the beach are about 2.5 km away.

The studio apartment, around 30 sqm and equipped with air conditioning, features a cosy sleeping area with one double bed and one single bed. The living area includes a kitchenette with every comfort, a dining table, chairs and a built-in masonry sofa. The bathroom has been created inside an old traditional Filicudi oven, with the characteristic rounded vault from which the house takes its name, and includes a large shower.

Outside, the spacious Aeolian-style terrace is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers and enjoys stunning views across the other islands: on clear days you can admire Stromboli with its distinctive plume, as well as Panarea, Salina, Lipari and Vulcano. The sea can also be enjoyed from the lush garden of almond trees, strawberry trees, hibiscus and broom in which the house is immersed, while sunrise offers a new and enchanting spectacle every morning.

The house has private parking shared with a second house. All the units in the residence feature traditional Aeolian terraces with pulere, bisuoli, cane-covered pergolas and stone seating, together with all the comforts needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. To help protect the environment and save energy, every unit is equipped with solar panels for water heating.
